Why helvapay

Three things we do differently.

01 · One rate

Klarna costs what Visa costs

One rate per successful payment, for every method. Klarna costs what Visa costs, a card from abroad costs what a local card costs. One number to plan with, one bill to read.

02 · One dashboard

Everything in one place

Payments, payouts, disputes and documents in a single view. Sell through a payment link, a QR code, your shop plugin or the API. A website is optional, getting paid is the point.

03 · One contact

A person answers

Write to us and you reach someone who knows your account, in English or German. For payment and account questions the processing team is reachable straight from your dashboard.

How it works

Three steps to your first payment.

Request early access

Tell us what you sell and where your company is registered. We confirm availability and your conditions in writing.

Verify your business

Digital identity check, handled by our processing partner. Most accounts are reviewed within a few business days.

Start accepting payments

Payment link, QR code, plugin or API. Payouts go to your existing bank account.

Clear roles

Who does what, in plain terms.

Payments involve licensed institutions. We think you should see exactly how the setup works before you sign up, not after.

Merchants accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement during signup. That contract is between the merchant and Stripe. Your agreement with us covers the software, the pricing you see here and our support.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers.

Who processes my payments?

Stripe, a licensed payment services provider, processes the payments and sends your payouts. helvapay builds the product, the dashboard and the support around it. We are a technical service provider, we never hold your funds, and we are not a bank. During signup you accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement directly with Stripe.

What is the difference to opening an account directly with the processor?

Three things: one rate that covers every payment method, a dashboard built for people who do not work in payments, and one place to ask questions. If you want maximum configuration depth and are willing to manage a per-method fee structure yourself, a direct account may serve you better. We prefer telling you that now.

What will it cost?

One rate per successful payment, no setup fee, and no monthly fee on the entry plan. The planned figures are on the pricing page, together with the prices for rare events like chargebacks. Early access merchants get the final numbers in writing before they commit.

When do I get my money?

Payouts go from processing to your own bank account on a regular schedule. The exact interval and the first payout timing depend on your account and country, so both are confirmed with your invitation.

Which countries can join?

We onboard merchants in the countries our processing partner supports, which covers most of Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and further markets. Tell us where your company is registered and we confirm availability with your invitation.

How is card data protected?

Card data goes straight to the processor and never reaches our systems. Processing runs on infrastructure certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider, the highest certification level in the card industry, with 3-D Secure and fraud monitoring included.

What does early access mean?

We are onboarding the first merchants in stages while the product is being finished. You join a waitlist, we contact you with your conditions and a realistic start date, and nothing is binding until you say yes. Early merchants get our full attention and fixed conditions at launch.
